AI can generate a musical idea in seconds. But speed is not the same as artistry, ownership, musicianship, or identity. The AI Music Integrity Lab helps songwriters, singers, musicians, and producers use today’s technology while protecting the human creativity that makes their music worth hearing.
Led by recording artist, composer, producer, pianist, and international performer Black Pinoy — Joel Crafton, this program approaches AI from the position of a working musician. The purpose is not to teach people how to press a button and pretend the result required no human judgment. The purpose is to help artists study, rebuild, perform, document, and strengthen their music so that technology serves the musician.
Your Music Should Still Sound Like You
Programs such as Suno and other AI music generators can produce arrangements, vocals, and instrumental ideas almost instantly. Those tools can be useful, but they can also leave artists confused about originality, human contribution, distribution, documentation, and copyright.
Simply screen-recording a song, separating stems, converting a file, or trying to remove an AI “fingerprint” does not automatically create human authorship. The stronger approach is to understand the musical material and deliberately bring your own performance, arrangement, production choices, and identity back into the work.
