Joel Crafton, known globally as Black Pinoy, is a recording artist, producer, actor, and media creator whose work bridges music, storytelling, and visual media across international audiences.

A member and publisher with ASCAP, Joel performs and produces music in English, Tagalog, Ilocano, and Spanish, bringing a multicultural presence to every project he touches.

Recognized for his talent since the age of six, Joel has built a career as an artist, producer, writer, arranger, singer, pianist, and actor. His work spans music, film, radio, and commercial production.
He trained under the same acting coach as Denzel Washington, the renowned Tina Satin, further expanding his presence into film and on-screen performance.
Joel has collaborated with respected industry figures including Ossie Davis, Heavy D, and producer James Anthony Carmichael, known for his work with Lionel Richie, The Commodores, and early Michael Jackson.
Joel’s music has also received recognition from legendary artist Bobby Caldwell.

Joel has worked with major labels and organizations including Atlantic Records, WEA, and ACTO Records, contributing to radio promotion, artist development, and commercial production.

He has also co-produced commercial campaigns for brands including Burger King, Lipton Tea, and Kodak.

Joel’s career includes an 11-year production agreement in Hong Kong, where he built a strong international presence and earned recognition from the Philippine Consulate.
He later expanded his global reach through a production engagement in Singapore, releasing music such as If I Could Look Inside Your Mind, produced by renowned jazz artist Bob Baldwin.
His work continues to connect with audiences across the United States, Asia, and beyond.
